THE RULES
Please read carefully, and follow these simple rules, and you could win this creepy-cool Poe mask, courtesy THE FOLLOWING on FOX TV!
Write a haiku* using the “images” of “Poe” (the man or his work) and “fan” (the reader/devotee).

Post your haiku on The Poe House Facebook page time-line HERE. 
Your post must begin with a title line, thus: A POE HAIKU by (your name), and then beneath that line, post your 3 line haiku.
Get your friends over to the page to “like” your haiku! The haiku with the most “likes” by 11:59pm Monday, February 4th, 2013 wins!
Take your time! Don't rush, and be creative! A haiku (and its English variation) is a form of poetry originated by the Japanese. A haiku poem consists of three lines that capture a feeling or an image. It doesn't rhyme. If you don't know “haiku basics”, take a look at this tutorial HERE.
This contest is open to all, even if you have won a contest of ours in this recent cycle. It's open to all, around the world!
Once you post your haiku, tell all your friends to go and “like” your post on our timeline! We, the administrators of The Poe House Facebook page, will be encouraging people to vote by “liking” the posts too!
Feel free to post your haiku when you think you're ready, and you've written it to your satisfaction!
THE RULES—THE FINE PRINT
Only ONE entry per contestant. Multiple entries will be disqualified, and deleted. Your FIRST entry, identified by timestamp, is your ONLY entry—so work out your poem before you post it!
Contestants may “campaign” among their friends to go to The Poe House Facebook page to vote on their haiku by “liking” it—so remember: it's important that your post begin with the title A POE HAIKU by (your name, of course, so your friends know which to “like”). You may also “like” your own haiku!
This contest is open to ALL, with the following restrictions: folks employed by FOX TV, “The Following” TV show, and Damfino Media are disqualified from participating. “Groups” are disqualified, and only true individual persons may enter. Facebook “groups” or “pages” may not enter, and will be deleted and disqualified.
The judges will “screen capture” the entries at approximately 11:59pm on Monday, February 4th, 2013 and count the votes. Entries made after that time will not be counted in the contest.
The Poe mask was provided courtesy FOX TV and their show THE FOLLOWING, and Damfino Media, publisher of Poe Forevermore magazine. The autographs of the cast of “The Following” are NOT on the mask itself, but on the Styrofoam wig form the mask comes with.
